IPXChange Information Sharing eXChange or iSharx is a data collaboration and document management component of the IPXchange Contact Management Suite (ICMS) and the Centrifuge Resource Planning eXChange (CentRePlex).
iSharx has the following features:
Data Collaboration - share presentations, documents and files across the corporate network without sending actual copies to participants saving time and ensuring important information is effectively shared without compromising security and integrity of the content being used.
Enterprise Content Management* - manage digitized files, drawings, marketing multimedia collaterals, and rich media content effectively.
Document Management - manage the backup, distribution and handling of important corporate documents
Records Management* - keep updated records secure and in-tact and archive old records based on established policies.
Web-Content Management* - easily and dynamically update web content to keep website information current.
File Sharing Controls - access and view files based on user security permissions.
Print Security - allow or deny printing of important documents depending on certain authorizations.
OCR Integration and Imaging* - convert scanned documents to plain text.
Transmission Security (Fax, Email, IM) - block or allow transmission of files through secure channels.
Reporting Tools -present detailed reports on file or content-related activities.
There are two versions of iSharx: the Standard Edition which is one of the ICMS components and the Premier* Edition which is the component designed for CentReplex.
